AHA Fellowships are awarded to physicians, scientists, and other healthcare professionals with a particularly productive career in advancing the treatment of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
The gift was made from the estate of Norris “Ray” Dacus of Mountain Home and facilitated by his niece, Dana Kennedy of Jonesboro, to honor his life and love of music in perpetuity.
It has received the necessary approval, which is a Letter of “Reasonable Assurance” from the American Veterinary Medical Association’s Council on Education.
The Health, Wellness & Environmental Studies Magnet School invites the community to its upcoming Student Plant Sale on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
In its 31st year, the annual symposium will begin at 3 p.m. on Wednesday with events in the Carl R. Reng Student Union, including a forum discussion of monsters and cryptids across various disciplines.
“I have always believed in cultivating leaders who uphold integrity, character and service,” Bobango said. “Supporting students at Arkansas State is a meaningful way to help strengthen those values in future generations.”
Several events are scheduled at the Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library in April.
Jonesboro medical school will host dinner event on May 21.
This year, 11 retiring faculty members were honored.
“This program brings the court to universities and high schools across the state to hold oral arguments in real cases,” said Dr. Stacy Dewald, assistant professor of criminology.
