Harrisburg, AR – Jonesboro Right Now – The Harrisburg Hornets came out on top in the latest Fox Football Faceoff, earning a $250 donation for their athletic booster club after fans gave Harrisburg the most votes in this week’s school-vs.-school competition.
The Walnut Ridge Bobcats traveled to Harrisburg Friday night for the latest Faceoff matchup, with fans from both schools getting behind their teams during the week’s voting.
While Harrisburg won the battle for the votes, Walnut Ridge won the battle on the football field.
The Bobcats defeated the Hornets 47-20 Friday night at Harrisburg.
As part of the Fox Football Faceoff, Harrisburg Athletic Director Brian Carter was presented with a $250 check from Roof Raiders and 104.9 The Fox for the Harrisburg athletic booster club.
The Fox Football Faceoff is a season-long promotion from 104.9 The Fox that puts two area high schools head-to-head each week. Fans vote for their favorite school by text, and the school receiving the most votes earns a $250 donation for its athletic booster club.
Brookland at Nettleton Up Next
The Fox Football Faceoff continues next week with a matchup between the Brookland Bearcats and Nettleton Raiders on Friday night, October 2.
Voting begins Monday.
