Jonesboro, AR – Contributed – Craighead County Judge Marvin Day congratulated Renew Mental Health & Wellness Sept. 3 for their successful application for funding through the Arkansas Opioid Recovery Partnership (ARORP).

Renew Mental Health & Wellness’ Naloxone HERO Program will receive a $768.00 credit from the established Arkansas Naloxone Bank to obtain naloxone for distribution to community members throughout Craighead County.

The Naloxone HERO Program is designed to increase access to naloxone, a medication that can rapidly reverse an opioid overdose and potentially save a life.

By making naloxone more readily available to community members, Renew Mental Health & Wellness is helping strengthen local efforts to prevent overdose deaths and protect the health and safety of the Craighead County community.

Craighead County has been proud to collaborate with the Arkansas Opioid Recovery Partnership, funding seven projects directly benefiting Craighead County in its fight against the opioid epidemic.
