Jonesboro, AR — (Contributed) — July 22, 2025 — The “Heart of Arkansas” diamond brooch, designed by Sissy’s Log Cabin to be a timeless symbol of Arkansas’s natural beauty, is traveling to Jonesboro during July.

First debuted by Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders at the presidential inauguration, this stunning creation is now on display at Sissy’s Log Cabin’s Jonesboro location, at 2900 Parkwood Road.

Crafted by master jeweler Christo Kiffer, the pin features a 4.87-carat diamond mined from Arkansas’ Crater of Diamonds State Park. This natural, uncut diamond serves as the centerpiece, showcasing its unique heart-like shape. Surrounding the stone is an arrangement of 365 diamonds in various shapes, sizes, and hues, totaling 16.22 carats and set in 18 karat yellow gold. A hidden sapphire on the back adds an extra layer of elegance and symbolizes Sissy’s Log Cabin’s commitment to fine craftsmanship and quality.

“The Heart of Arkansas brooch is more than just a piece of jewelry. It’s now a piece of history, and it represents the beauty and brilliance found right here in our state,” said Joe Cook, Jonesboro store manager and vice president for Sissy’s Log Cabin. “When we created this brooch, we knew it would become a symbol of Arkansas excellence, and we’re honored to share it with the northeast corner of the state this month.”

After its inaugural debut with Sanders in January in Washington, D.C., the “Heart of Arkansas” is traveling to all Sissy’s Log Cabin locations for public viewing.

Bill Jones, owner and CEO of Sissy’s Log Cabin, previously expressed pride in sharing the piece with Arkansans, stating, “This custom creation truly encompasses the heart of Arkansas, from the locally-mined diamond to the carefully handcrafted details. We are thrilled to give the public an opportunity to see this extraordinary creation up close.”

The brooch, which took over 100 hours to craft, reflects the unparalleled artistry and dedication of Sissy’s Log Cabin. As it travels throughout the state as a display piece, it remains a symbol of Arkansas pride, poised to continue its legacy with future governors and first ladies.
