The proposed road will connect Highway 49 (Red Wolf Blvd) to the new railroad overpass being constructed on Airport Road (Highway 351).
The Jonesboro City Council approved the settlement of the lawsuit against the city, Mayor Copenhaver and Police Chief Rick Elliott by an 11-1 vote.
The settlement would award Anderson $99,000 and the letter of termination in her personnel file would be changed to a letter of resignation.
