Construction is set to begin soon on InnovAsian Cuisine’s new frozen food manufacturing facility in Jonesboro, as officials broke ground on the building Tuesday.
The campaign encourages motorists, pedestrians and cyclists to practice safe behaviors during the busy back-to-school season when more children are walking and biking.
An organization will be celebrating its grand opening in Jonesboro in September.
Graduates were joined by friends, family members, distinguished guests, and representatives from the businesses and organizations they represent.
“We’re about halfway towards our goal of what we’d like,” said Andrew DiPippa, regional operating manager of the McJunkins Restaurant Group. “The hiring has been tremendous so far, and Jonesboro has proven ready for our restaurant to be there.”
Each week, Jonesboro Right Now teams up with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society (NEAHS) to feature local pets available for adoption.
The campaign runs Saturday, Sept. 12, through Saturday, Oct. 31, bringing together volunteers from across the state to improve the places they live, work, and play.

A portion of Main Street in downtown Jonesboro is set to close to vehicular traffic for a building’s structural assessment.
Jonesboro will be Arkansas’ Capital for a Day, followed by Paragould, Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced.
