According to the probable cause affidavit, the tips flagged a Google account that had uploaded 44 videos containing child sexual abuse material. A search warrant was executed at his Jonesboro home by the Jonesboro Police Department’s (JPD) Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Division, JPD SWAT, U.S. Marshals, and the FBI.
Following his arrest, Daffron’s bond was set at $250,000 cash/surety, and he was strictly prohibited from accessing the internet on any devices. District Judge Tommy Fowler previously noted that the total number of charges could eventually exceed 100 as the investigation continues.
According to official personnel files obtained by JRN through a Freedom of Information Act request, Daffron was hired as a family service worker for the Division of Children and Family Services on June 8, 2017. He worked there until his voluntary resignation on May 2, 2025.
The Arkansas Department of Human Services told JRN that they are proactively reviewing past cases he handled to ensure there were no other concerning incidents.
