Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – April 14, 2024 – The building directly to the right (south) of Peterson’s Variety is on fire. Witnesses report hearing an explosion on scene just before the smoke started. JFD is currently on scene. Heavy black smoke is causing visibility issues on Paragould Dr and Hwy 49. Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area.
E911 advised that Paragould Dr will be shut down from Hickory Rd to Cypress Moss Rd.
