The Arkansas Department of Agriculture is celebrating Arbor Day by launching its sixth annual “Free Tree Fridays” campaign, a statewide effort to encourage tree planting.
A representative from the Northeast Rice Research and Extension Center will speak to the Jonesboro University Heights Lions Club during its bi-weekly meeting this coming Tuesday.
