Jonesboro, AR – Jonesboro Right Now – Finding a new best friend often starts right in our own backyard, and bringing a rescue pet into your home brings unmatched reward.
Each week, Jonesboro Right Now teams up with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society (NEAHS) to feature local pets available for adoption.
In this week’s spotlight, we have the adventurous Jake and playful yet shy Bobbi, both just waiting to find their furever home. Here are the Jonesboro Right Now Pets of the Week:
Jake: The Adventurous Companion
Jake is a large sized mix male who is almost three years old but who thinks he’s still a puppy (and can still fit in a lap). He’s up to date, neutered, and microchipped. He’s also heartworm positive, so he’s undergoing treatment for that.
Jake has been in the shelter for seven months, but he’s going to make someone the perfect companion, as he’s up for any adventure!

Bobbi: Playful Yet Shy
Bobbi is a 15-week-old, domestic short hair cat who’s been in the shelter for three weeks. She’s playful with other cats, especially her littermate Miley, but a little shy around people still.
Bobbi is up to date on all vaccines and preventatives, and before adoption, she’ll be spayed and microchipped and ready for her furever home!
