Rose was arrested back in August following an internal investigation by the Craighead County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators said that Rose used his position to coerce a juvenile female inmate into inappropriate contact under the threat of additional jail time. He was subsequently terminated from his position and faces a charge of second-degree sexual assault, a Class B felony punishable by five to 20 years in prison.

Rose’s trial was originally scheduled for Nov. 16-20.
