Trumann, AR – Jonesboro Right Now – The Trumann Wildcats came out on top in the latest Fox Football Faceoff, earning a $250 donation for their athletic booster club following this week’s school-versus-school voting competition.

Fans of Trumann and Paragould turned out in strong numbers to support their schools in the weekly promotion presented by 104.9 The Fox and Roof Raiders.

Before Friday night’s game, representatives of 104.9 The Fox and Roof Raiders presented the Trumann Athletic Booster Club with a $250 check for winning the week’s voting.

The Fox Football Faceoff is a season-long promotion that gives fans the opportunity to support their school by text. Each week, two Northeast Arkansas high schools are selected, and the school receiving the most votes earns $250 for its athletic booster club.

While Trumann won the battle for the votes, Paragould won the battle on the football field.

The Rams defeated the Wildcats 42-6 Friday night.

The Fox Football Faceoff continues next week with another Northeast Arkansas matchup as the Walnut Ridge Bobcats travel to Harrisburg to take on the Hornets.

Voting begins Monday.
