Mrs. Wanda Leah Mills of Harrisburg, AR, departed this life on Thursday, May 9, 2024, in Tupelo, MS, at the age of 81.

She was born August 26, 1942, in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of the late Vander Fiser and Jewell Minton.

Wanda grew up in Bono with her grandparents and graduated from Jonesboro High School in 1960.  She was a beautician for many years and also owned and operated the Greenfield Grocery Store, just north of Harrisburg.  She married Randy Mills on March 22, 1974 and they enjoyed 50 years together.  After they married, she worked a few years at Johansen’s Shoe Factory in Harrisburg and later several years at American Greetings in Harrisburg.  She helped Randy in his Shelter Insurance business for many years and also enjoyed working with Indian Realty in the Real Estate Business.  Her last fulltime job was in Real Estate.  She enjoyed fishing and was involved with the Food and Fellowship Committee at Calvary Baptist Church in Harrisburg, where she was a member.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Josh Neal.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Randy Mills of Harrisburg, three daughters, Marilyn Neal of Little Rock, Sandy West of Benton, AR, and Kristi Stone (Rob) of Guntown, MS, two sons, Jimmie West of Sunrise Beach Village, TX and Larry West of Dallas, TX, a half-sister, Pat Warner of Fort Lauderdale, FL, six grandchildren, Nathan Neal, Jeremy Maree, Will Stone, Anna Clare Stone, Sam Stone and Jude Stone, four great grandchildren, Hannah Neal, Jaxon Neal, Keaton Neal and Khloe Neal, several brothers and sisters in law and many nieces and nephews.  She loved her big family.

Funeral services are set for Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., at the Calvary Baptist Church in Harrisburg with Rev. Gary Henson officiating.  Burial will follow in Harrisburg Memorial Park under the direction of Gregg-Weston Funeral Home of Harrisburg.  Friends may visit at the funeral home Tuesday evening, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.  Pallbearers will be David Wallace, Calen Wallace, Cody Wallace, Terry Smith, Rob Stone, Will Stone, and Roger McClain.  Those wishing to send memorials are asked to consider Calvary Baptist Church in Harrisburg, or a charity of your choosing.
