Paragould, AR – Contributed – Rrinaco will perform traditional bluegrass and a variety of acoustic music at the next KASU-FM Bluegrass Monday concert.
The show will take place on Monday, March 23, at 7 p.m. at the Collins Theatre, located at 120 W. Emerson St. in Paragould.
Rrinaco is the “alter ego” of Corrina Rose Logston-Stephens. Last year, she released an album under this name on the acclaimed Rebel Records label. On it, she explores bluegrass music beyond the boundaries of the genre’s sometimes strict traditional norms. However, her music is intentionally timeless and still steeped in acoustic music traditions.
As Rrinaco, Logston-Stephens explores topics lyrically not typically covered in bluegrass music, including awkward social situations, cluttered desks, tinnitus, and gaslighting, along with more traditional topics of faith and Christianity.
Logston-Stephens has an impressively long bluegrass music resume. She grew up in a musical household and had interests in punk rock music before beginning to play fiddle at age 14. She graduated from Belmont University with a degree in music.
She has performed with legendary bluegrass acts Jesse McReynolds, Del McCoury and Jim Lauderdale. With her husband Jeremy Stephens, she’s also a founding member of the award-winning traditional bluegrass act High Fidelity, and together they also perform in the pre-bluegrass “brother duets” style of mu/sic as the Stephens Brothers.
Logston-Stephens won the fiddle competition at the prestigious Galax Old Fiddler’s Convention, and she also plays multiple other stringed instruments. She has also had multiple #1 bluegrass hits, both as part of High Fidelity and as a solo artist.
Joining her onstage for this concert in Paragould will be Stephens. Primarily known as a banjo player, he also plays guitar, mandolin, and bass. He spent seven years as a member of the legendary gospel group Chuck Wagon Gang.
Also performing with Logston-Stephens will be Lauren Price Napier. With her twin sister Leanna, they recorded and toured as the Price Sisters, and they played at Bluegrass Monday in 2025. Lauren is known for her Bill Monroe-style mandolin playing.
Norbert McGettigan III will be playing bass for this concert. He also plays bass in the Larry Stephenson Band and in the Jason Carter Band.
Multi-instrumentalist Kevin Buchanan will also perform in the concert. He has been featured on recordings by Logston-Stephens, and he is an in-demand Nashville-based musician.
Additional information about Logston-Stephens and her Rrinaco project is available online.
The admission fee to the Bluegrass Monday concert is $10 per person, payable by cash at the door the night of the concert. Everyone aged 18 and under will be admitted free. Advance tickets can be purchased online. All ticket proceeds go to the musicians, compensating them for their performance.
Groups of eight or more may request reserved seating by contacting KASU’s Marty Scarbrough. Otherwise, the theatre doors open at 6 p.m., and seating is first-come, first-served.
Acoustic musicians are invited to participate in a bluegrass music jam session to begin at 5 p.m. in the Joe Wessell Building adjacent to the Collins Theatre. A section of seats in the theatre will be reserved for jammers and their guests so that they can play until the concert starts.
The Bluegrass Monday concert series is a non-profit presentation of KASU-FM, providing music fans with an affordable and outstanding evening of family-friendly entertainment. These concerts are held on the fourth Monday night of each month.
