Jonesboro, AR – JonesboroRightNow.com – Craighead County District Court is warning residents of a text message scam.
The district court warned in a Facebook post that it does not send text messages to collect payment for tickets. The post said text messages may contain accurate personal and/or case information, but they are scams. It added that the payment link provided in the message is not an official court website.

If you receive a fraudulent text, the post said not to click any links or submit payment through the messages, and that the District Court will never request payment via text message.
