Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Dec. 12, 2024 – The Arvest Foundation recently announced a total of $12,000 in grants to help organizations that support the arts, children and families in Northeast Arkansas.

Those groups are:

City Youth will use its grant funds to purchase a new refrigerator to keep food for the organization’s after-school feeding program for children.

Family Crisis Center will use its grant funds to help victims of domestic violence, human trafficking and sexual assault obtain safe, permanent housing. The funds will be leveraged with local, state and federal grant dollars to maximize the impact on those who receive Family Crisis Center services.

Foundation of Arts will use its grant funds to support new works of public art that enhance the quality of life for residents in the Northeast Arkansas community.

United Way of Northeast Arkansas will use its grant funds to provide books for children in Craighead County through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. The grant will provide 75 children under the age of five with one book delivered to their home each month for an entire year.
