Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Nov. 26, 2024 – Early voting for the Jonesboro mayoral runoff begins today at the Craighead County Election Annex.
Voters will elect either incumbent mayor Harold Copenhaver or City Councilperson L.J. Bryant as mayor. During the 2024 general election, Copenhaver received 44.11% of the vote, while Bryant received 34.14%, according to unofficial election results.
Early voting will start at 8 a.m. and run through 5 p.m. this week and early next week, although the annex will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and Saturday. Early voting concludes Dec. 2. The Lake City Election Annex will not be available.
The Craighead County Election Annex is located at 315 W. Jefferson Ave.
Voters can also vote on Election Day, Dec. 3 from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the following locations across Jonesboro:
- Allen Park Community Center (3609 Race St.)
- Earl Bell Community Center (1212 S. Church St.)
- First National Bank Arena (217 Olympic Dr.)
- Forest Home Church of the Nazarene (2403 Ritter Dr.)
- Parker Park Community Center (1522 N. Church St.)
- Valley View Church of Christ (4500 Southwest Dr.)
- Walnut Street Baptist Church (1910 Scenic Rd.)
Only those who live in the city limits can vote in the runoff. To check if you live in the city limits, visit efsedge.com/craighead. The city limit is outlined in lime green.
Alternatively, voters can visit voterview.com to check. If VoterView lists your municipality as Jonesboro, you can vote in the runoff.
