Charles Edgar Cox, 85, of Jonesboro passed away September 18, 2024 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro.
He was born October 10, 1938 in Weiner to the late Chester William and Ethel Truitt Cox.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Ethel Cox; wife, Shirley Cox; son, Kenneth Cox; and brothers, Bob and Chester Cox.
Charles is survived by his son, Robert Cox of Pocahontas; grandchildren, Casey Cox and Sara Harris; great grandchildren, Braydon Henley Cullum and Jane Ray Cullum; brothers, Marvin Cox, Billy Don Cox, and Dennis Cox; and many other relatives and friends.
Cremation has been chosen as the method of final disposition. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
All arrangements are under the direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
