As a teen, Howard became a highly decorated Eagle Scout, continuing on to become a professional Scout in the early 1970’s. His career path then shifted to service for the State of Arkansas as an Agent of ACIC (Arkansas Crime Information Center) for well over 40 years. A lifelong resident of Jonesboro he and Jan raised their family there and were members of First Baptist Church.

Howard Kirkindall will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His legacy of happiness, community service, and love for life will continue to inspire those he leaves behind. A memorial service to honor Howard will be announced at a later date. The Kirkindall family asks that honorariums be made to the Phil and Flo Jones Hospice House of St. Bernard’s.
