Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Oct. 12, 2024 – Investigators with the Street Crimes Unit got a recent tip on a man who allegedly drove around Jonesboro and dealt drugs out of his vehicle.

Investigators learned that 33-year-old Dakota Mills was at Pete’s Western Wear on Harrisburg Road and was driving a gray Volvo SUV. When they arrived at Pete’s, they saw the Volvo in front of the store and ran the plates. The SUV was registered to 30-year-old Jacqueline Pickle.

Pickle was in the back of the vehicle, where she was reportedly trying to hide something under the seat as officers approached. They had her get out of the vehicle and asked where Mills was. He was in the store. They located him and both were arrested without incident.

Mills was searched and officers found fentanyl on him. They conducted a parole search of Mills’ phone, where he had records of several drug-related transactions.

A K9 partner searched the vehicle and alerted on more fentanyl, meth, used syringes and other drug paraphernalia.

Both Mills and Pickle received multiple drug charges. Pickle’s bond was set at $50,000 c/s. Mills’ bond was set at $200,000 c/s. Their court date is set for Nov. 25 at 8:30 a.m.
