Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Oct. 22, 2024 – A Trumann man has been issued a no-contact order with Jonesboro mayoral candidate Jeremy Terrell after telling him he would “kill him.”

Over the weekend, a Jonesboro police officer was dispatched to a residence on Parker Road in reference to a subject with a weapon. Dispatch told the officer the suspect would be in a truck with black rims.

Upon arrival, the officer made contact with the suspect, 21-year-old Kobe Miles, who was sitting in the truck. According to the probable cause affidavit, a group of juveniles were fighting when Terrell attempted to break up the fight. Terrell reportedly grabbed a 15-year-old who Miles said he considers his little brother.

Miles reportedly pulled out a gun and told Terrell if he touched the 15-year-old again, he would “kill him.”

Miles is charged with one count of terroristic threatening and one count of battery. He was given a court date of Dec. 17 at 8:30 a.m. and a bond of $2,500 c/s.
