Winter storms bring more than just icy roads and snow-covered landscapes.

KAIT8 News and the American Red Cross invite the community to participate in the annual ‘Be the Hero’ blood drive, held at various locations across Northeast Arkansas.  

Being prepared for possible winter weather can help keep you safe. Get ready before weather threatens your area by having an emergency plan in place.

The three-year grant will fund teams composed of police officers and mental health professionals to simultaneously respond to complaints in which the problem appears to be more medical than criminal.
