Early voting is on pace to top early voting in 2020 presidential election

City officials unveiled one of the city’s new trolley buses and the MLK Bike Trail, during a special ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating enhanced connectivity in Jonesboro Friday morning.

With the goal set more than two years ago to upgrade Jonesboro’s Economical Transportation System (JET), the first tangible asset in that effort arrived before dawn Monday in the form of a nostalgia- drenched shiny blue trolley bus, complete with wood interior, faux etched windows, and of course, a trolley bell.
