
Former Jonesboro Mayor Doug Formon has publicly endorsed incumbent Mayor Harold Copenhaver in his re-election campaign.

An appropriation ordinance to allocate over $144,000 from county funds toward a new emergency generator for the Craighead County Road Department Shop will go before Quorum Court in its next meeting.

Cheers erupted from L.J. Bryant supporters when he took the stage at his watch party Tuesday night at the Huntington Lounge as unofficial election results were announced.

“I’ll approach it (the runoff) in the same way that I do mayor. I’ll wake up tomorrow, I’ll look forward and progress toward what we need to do to become mayor for the next four years.”
