The Jonesboro city council is set to consider several resolutions regarding its public transit service, GOJO, after the Finance and Administration Council Committee unanimously approved them Tuesday.
A resolution to lease space in downtown Jonesboro to house E911 administrative staff was unanimously forwarded to the full city council.
Community members wanting to give input on the future of the City of Jonesboro can do so at the two Plan Jonesboro meetings scheduled for March.

A resolution was put before the Finance and Administration Council Committee to resolve a lien involving property where the former Citizens Bank building once stood.
“If you have confidence in this administration, say so. If you do not, say so. Jonesboro deserves clarity.”
Arkansas is the only state in the nation that terminates postpartum Medicaid 60 days after delivery.
“GOJO isn’t just a name change, it’s reimagining what public transit means for Jonesboro,” Copenhaver said.
