The City of Jonesboro will receive $1 million in federal funds to execute flood improvement recommendations from its “Master Watershed Plan.”
According to the proposed lease agreement the city would lease the First United Methodist Church’s Jonesboro youth building.
Meetings were held earlier this week with some certified licensed educators to let them know they would not be recommended for contract renewal next year.
