Jonesboro police were dispatched to the Parker Rd/Woodsprings Road intersection Thursday around 6 p.m. in response to a domestic disturbance.

A man called the Walmart on Highland Drive and said he was “about to come to the store and start shooting people.”
The man said he was “trying to burn the building down with him in it to go to a better place.”
“Using force and injuring those under your care is intolerable and despicable behavior.”
She told the suspect, “He took her child’s innocence, and she hated him for it.”
