
The suspect told the deputy during the traffic stop that he was a convicted felon and had a firearm on him.

The 23-year-old man was attempting to cross the intersection of Main and Nettleton.

While interviewing the suspect, he claimed that the victim had struck his heel with a machete.

The suspect is confined to house arrest until July 1 and can only leave his residence for medical treatment.
