Jonesboro, AR — (JonesboroRightNow.com) — June 19, 2025 — Meet Me On Main is an initiative by the Jonesboro Media Group, parent of Jonesboro Right Now, and First Horizon Bank – located in the historic landmark building at Main Street and Washington Avenue at the unofficial entrance to downtown Jonesboro.
A section of Main Street was closed Sept. 25, 2024, due to concerns about the safety of the former Citizens Bank building across Main from First Horizon.
The building was condemned, demolished and the lot and streets around it improved. Main Street reopened May 13, 2025, much to the excitement of downtown business owners, operators and downtown residents.
JMG and the First Horizon Foundation are promoting and supporting the downtown businesses with a series of articles. The articles will be published each Thursday for the next several weeks. In addition, there will be promotion efforts on JMG’s six radio stations each Thursday. JMG and First Horizon urge you to visit and support these businesses.
This week’s featured business: New Horizon Real Estate
New Horizon Real Estate has become a standout name in Northeast Arkansas’s real estate landscape, and much of that success is rooted in its commitment to professional development, culture, and staying true to its values.
Located at 225 S. Main St. in downtown Jonesboro, the brokerage has operated out of this central hub for four years, following its 2021 start as part of another real estate company. In late 2024, New Horizon expanded its presence with a new office on Grecian Lane in Paragould.

The company is co-owned by Rob Spencer, who serves as lead trainer and executive Broker, Seth Weston, the principal broker and Jack Turner, who oversees the commercial contracting arm of the company, Aspen Prime. Together, they have a growing team of over 25 agents.
Training and mentorship are at the core of New Horizon’s approach. Spencer’s background in coaching and agent development is something the agency takes pride in.
“All of our agents have one-on-one training with me,” Spencer said. “They also have a link to my calendar. All of our agents have access to my nationwide coaching program.”
Rachel Sellmeyer and Kimberley Moseley were a couple of the stand-out agents mentioned, and while New Horizon continues to grow, Spencer emphasized the agency doesn’t recruit in the traditional sense.
“We don’t recruit. We don’t call an existing agent and say, ‘Hey, come on over here,’ but if somebody reaches out to us first, then we’re doing that. I’m in growth mode for this. I’m also still a producing agent, myself. I sell probably 30 new constructions a year.”
The brokerage also celebrates long-standing agents who have grown with the company.
“Angie Fischbacher started in 2018. She’s been one of the most highly recruited, her and her daughter, Riley. And, luckily, they’ve hung with us because I think they’re great agents and we’re lucky to have them.”
New Horizon’s training philosophy especially favors new licensees. “I would rather you be fresh out of school. I would prefer it if you were brand new,” Spencer said. “Number one, if I’m training you from the ground up, we know that you’re going to do it our way.”
“We’ve had agents from other companies, and it’s fine. It’s just, sometimes you feel like you’re having to kind of break their legs a little bit to learn how to walk again,” he added. “Because they were doing it a certain way because they were told to do it that way and they weren’t really questioning why. And so that’s what we’ve faced when established agents come in.”
That approach also protects the culture the company is so intentional about. “We’re fiercely protective of culture,” Spencer said. “Real estate’s already frustrating and challenging enough. We don’t need you to bring your drama up in here.”
