William “Marlin” Bailey, Jr., 59, of Paragould, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024. He was born January 23, 1965, to Willam and Patricia Bailey. Marlin was an Army Veteran and loved hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Marlin was preceded in death by his parents and son, Derrick Rowe.
Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Tracy Bailey; sons, William Dakota Bailey of Paragould, Floyd Austin Bailey (Laney) of Paragould, Cody Ellenburg of Paragould, Brandon Bailey of Lake City, Justin Bailey of Lake City; daughters, Brittany Kidd (Scotty) of Brookland, Jessica Lewis (Melvin) of Carmi, IL; brother, Greg Bailey (Farrah); Madison; sister, Linda Westhause (Mike); nieces and nephews, Bailey, Madison, Abigail, Tyler, Madison; grandchildren, Baleigh, Makayla, Brooklynn, Jordan, Remington, Haleigh, Laney, Hayden, Chloe, Kaitlyn, Justin; and Marlin’s dog, Marley Grace.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 9, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Saturday, August 10, at 1:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Dakota Bailey, Austin Bailey, Scotty Kidd, Brandon Bailey, Carl Morgan, and Greg Bailey will serve as pallbearers. Tyler Bailey will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
