William Larry Breckenridge, age 79, of Paragould, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 1, 2024, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould. Larry was born on August 22, 1944, to the late Shirley Lester Breckenridge and Rosamelia (Mott) Breckenridge in Beech Grove, Arkansas.

Larry was the owner and operator of Larry’s Auto Sales in Paragould. He worked in vehicle sales for 48 years. He was an active member of Oak Grove Church of Christ and loved to spend his free time outdoors. He loved to fish, hunt, and go to the lake whenever he got the chance. He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his infant son, Larry Don Breckenridge; brothers, Excell Breckenridge, Loran Breckenridge, and Roy Breckenridge; sisters, Bonnie Gatlin, Reda East; and one great-grandson, Callen Easley.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 61 years, Flossie Breckenridge; son, Corey (Leah) Breckenridge; daughters, Annette Drew and Benita Easley; sister, Rosemary (Leo) Hankins; grandchildren: Matthew (Samantha) Drew, Mica Drew, Bree (Hunter) Siddons, Anthony (Sheena) Breckenridge,Blake (Kim) Easley, Cody (Olagjian) Breckenridge, Tammy (Matt) Webb, Sarah Easley, Jacob Breckenridge, Brandon Breckenridge, Spencer Breckenridge, Jerry Jackson, Jaylynn Jackson, and Emma Jackson; twenty great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Mitchell Funeral Home from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, April 5, 2024, beginning at 11:00 am with Sean Sullivan and Danny Roberson officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Gainesville Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Jeff Barnes, Steve Wright, Scotty Kappelman, Dustin Hedge, Gary Warner, and Ross Ashford. Honorary pallbearers will be Buck Walker and Danny Roberson.
