Wanda Louise Fryman, a beacon of love and courage, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2024, at her home in Henderson, Arkansas. Born on April 1, 1939, in Rector, Arkansas, to the late Clyde and Vivian (Powers) Chilcutt.
Wanda’s journey began in the small town of Rector. Her commitment to her faith was unwavering, and she remained a faithful member of the First General Baptist Church in Rector throughout her life.
In her personal life, Wanda was the epitome of a loving homebody, taking immense pride in maintaining a spotless home where every visitor felt welcomed and cherished. Her love for her family was the cornerstone of her existence. She was the beloved wife of the late Ray Fryman, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories and a deep, enduring love.
Wanda’s legacy is carried on by her devoted son, Bill, and his wife, Molly Fryman, who were blessed to learn the values of love and family from her example. Her grandchildren, Devin and Angel, and her great-grandchildren, Bryson, Carson and Jenson will forever hold in their hearts the lessons of kindness and courage that Wanda instilled in them.
Throughout her life, Wanda faced each challenge with a courageous heart and a smile that could light up the darkest room. She was a woman of few words, but her actions spoke volumes about the depth of her character and the breadth of her compassion.
