Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Aug 8, 2024 – Jonesboro Police responded to an address on Clark Street on Wednesday in reference to a call about threats being made to a 56-year-old woman.
When officers arrived, the complainant stated that her husband had threatened her. She explained that they are separated, but he is upset with her for telling others that they were going to get a divorce.
The subject went on to tell police that her husband had texted her stating that he was going to “voodoo her.”
She also stated that he had threatened to shoot her, but he does not have a gun.
The 55-year-old suspect was not arrested, but listed charges include 3rd degree assault on a family or household member. This charge relates to creating the apprehension of imminent physical injury to a family or household member.
