Virginia “Ginger” Adams, 79, of Dalton, departed this life on Monday, October 7, 2024, at St. Bernard Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born on October 28, 1944, in Poplar Bluff, MO, to the late Cecil Ellis and Lillia Mae Gwinup Ellis, Ginger was a dedicated homemaker who worked alongside her husband in operating the family farm.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Homer Franklin Adams; daughter, Rachel Marie Ellington; sister, Margaret Middleton; and brother, Charles Ellis. Ginger is survived by her son, James (Norma) Adams of Pocahontas; grandson, Dalton Adams of Pocahontas; Mel Lavergne of Dalton; special sisters-in-law, Erma (Barry) Burr of North Carolina, Berna Guntharp of Pocahontas, and Dorothy (Mackie) McReynolds of Dalton; brother-in-law, Clifford Adams of Ravenden Springs; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will take place at 10:00 am on Thursday, October 10, 2024, in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel with Rickie Hawkins officiating. A burial will follow in the White Cemetery.
