Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Aug 5, 2024 – There was some activity over the weekend in Bono that didn’t involve the Air Force.
Patsy Montgomery was pulled over because she was driving erratically down Highway 63 in Bono. A deputy was behind her in traffic when she swerved, almost hitting another vehicle so he conducted a traffic stop.
While the deputy was walking up to Montgomery’s vehicle, it looked like she was trying to cram something underneath her seat.
She told the deputy she swerved because she missed her exit, but she seemed “nervous and sweaty.” She was visibly shaking. Because of this behavior, the deputy asked if she’d get out of the vehicle so he could search it, but she said no. She told him she didn’t want to because she had some “dope” under her seat.
The search under the seat did turn up some “dope”… 14.5 grams of meth in a plastic bag. Montgomery was charged with possession and careless driving. Her bond was set at $75,000.
