Conway, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – May 19, 2024 – After waiting two extra days due to a Friday weather delay, the Valley View Blazers defeated Maumelle 5-0 Sunday to win the Class 5A Baseball Championship.
It was Valley View’s fourth straight trip to the baseball title game. They won the Class 4A title in 2021, lost in the 4A title game in 2022 and lost last season on a walk-off to Little Rock Christian in the Class 5A state title game.
The Riverside Rebels finished as 2A Softball Runners-Up after losing to Mansfield 4-2 in the Saturday title game.
