Conway, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – May 24, 2025 – Valley View was crowned Class 5A Baseball Champion after an 8-7 victory over conference member Marion Thursday.
The victory gave Valley View back-to-back state baseball championships after winning the 5A title in 2024.
Brookland suffered a heartbreaking loss to Harding Academy in the Class 4A baseball championship Friday night losing 14-11. The game took 14 innings to decide, the longest in Arkansas high school baseball championship history. One Brookland fan posted about the game, “two talented teams, led by exceptional coaches, left it all on the field.”
The Lady Bearcats lost the 4A girls soccer championship to Robinson 4-1 on Friday.
Baseball and softball championship games scheduled for Saturday were postponed due to rain. As of midday Saturday soccer championships were still scheduled to be played.
