Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow) – June 28, 2024 – The United Way of Northeast Arkansas announced its 2025 funding allocations at an event Friday at The Wildflower Event Center.
14 allocations were announced at the event. The allocations are made from the 2024 United Way campaign following an application process and a review by the United Way Regional Impact Committee (RIC).
$252,860 in allocations were presented at Friday’s event. In addition, $178,000 raised from United Way special events was committed to community immediate needs. The immediate needs funding presentation was made to Jonesboro Mayor Harold Copenhaver.
Executive Director Heather Coats and Development Director Erin Calhoon led the presentations assisted by Finance Director Casey Kidd and members of the United Way Board of Directors.
