Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – June 21, 2024 – Jonesboro Police met with a woman who had some unauthorized charges on her debit card after she’d recently gone through a local fast-food drive-through.

The woman told officers that she gave her debit card to an employee, later identified as Claudine Lockridge, who was working the drive thru window.

The victim said she got suspicious when the employee held onto her debit card for an unusually long time. The victim saw that the employee was writing something down while she was in possession of her card.

Soon after leaving the drive-through, the victim checked her bank account and saw unauthorized charges to CWL, T-Mobile and Lyft. Investigators verified with CWL that the payment made using the victim’s debit card was for an account held by Lockridge.

The total charges on the victim’s card: $203.73.

The restaurant manager reviewed his security footage and as a result, confronted Lockridge about the incident.

She admitted to the illegal activity with the card and resigned from her job.

A warrant was issued, and she was arrested on Wednesday.

She’s currently being held in the Craighead County Detention Center on a $1500 c/s bond.
