Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – May 20, 2024 – A Jonesboro man and woman and a Trumann man were arrested last week after Jonesboro police found the woman in possession of a stolen U-Haul truck.
On Thursday, May 16, police located the stolen truck on Phillips Drive, according to a police report.
A vehicle parked next to the truck attempted to leave as officers approached it.
After officers stopped the vehicle, they spoke with the driver, Jill Lornen Taylor, 54, a substitute teacher at the Nettleton School District, who was asked if she knew who was driving the U-Haul truck. She said her brother, Troy A. Wells, 60, of Trumann was driving it.
On Monday, May 20, Taylor was given a $5,000 bond by District Judge David Boling.
Wells had his bond set at $15,000, and McKim’s bond was set at $10,000.

A check on the truck showed that Taylor rented it on May 5 and was supposed to return it on May 7, but didn’t.
Wells and John McKim, 49, of Jonesboro were found to be in possession of methamphetamine, less than 2 grams.
Taylor is being held on suspicion of theft of $25,000 or more.
