Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Oct. 30, 2024 – TrinityRail Maintenance Services celebrated the 10th anniversary of its facility in Jonesboro. Since Trinity Industries, Inc. purchased the facility in 2014, the facility has become an essential part of TrinityRail’s operations, contributing significantly to the local economy and the railcar maintenance industry.
The Jonesboro facility, originally a wind turbine manufacturing plant, underwent significant modifications to transform it into a cutting-edge railcar maintenance and service operation. By 2015, the facility was fully operational. Over the past decade, the Jonesboro facility has serviced more than 20,000 railcars.
Originally established with an initial capital investment of more than $20 million, the Jonesboro facility has provided steady employment opportunities in the Northeast Arkansas region. TrinityRail Jonesboro currently employs more than 250 people. The Jonesboro facility specializes in a wide range of railcar maintenance services, ensuring TrinityRail’s railcar leasing fleet and other customers’ railcars meet or exceed all standards.
Since coming to Jonesboro, the relationships TrinityRail has built with the community and city have only continued to foster and grow.

In addition to its industrial contributions, TrinityRail’s Jonesboro facility has fostered strong community ties. Employees regularly participate in volunteer initiatives, including partnerships with local non-profits and participation in events like the United Way Day of Caring.
