Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Aug 9, 2024 – A common practice among parents these days involves children and iPads. Unfortunately, one Jonesboro man fell victim to his daughter’s forgetfulness, and ended up losing the tablet.
A 31-year-old Jonesboro dad was at church on Wednesday night and loaded up his children to go home. Once they arrived at the house, his daughter informed him that she had left her iPad on the trunk of the car before they drove off.
Thankfully, dad was able to look at the location of the iPad and saw that it was near the church, but then appeared to be moving. It ended up at a location unknown to dad or daughter on County Road 149.
Police were called after dad attempted to send a message to the device stating that it was lost. He asked if whoever had it could return it. They did not respond.
The iPad was listed as stolen, and Craighead County Deputies were called to assist in attempting to locate it in the county. They arrived at the address on CR 149 and were able to retrieve the tablet after speaking with residents.
