Terry Leon Camp, 68, of Ward, Arkansas, was born on November 28, 1956 to the late Lilbourn and Mamie Browning Camp. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend who left this world on October 20, 2024.
As a father, his love for his two sons, Matt and Adam Camp knew no bounds, and his love to them was the driving force behind all that he did.
As a grandfather, his grandchildren brought him immense pride, and he reveled in the time he spent with them, always ready with a warm hug or a playful joke. He loved them more than anything.
Outside his family, Terry was known for his generosity and kindness toward the elderly. He was always willing to help them with yardwork or sit with them and have a friendly chat. He also enjoyed baseball, dogs and most of all, his family.
Terry is survived by his sons Matt (Tiffany) Camp and Adam (Catie) Camp; his grandchildren Kimber Werner (step), Cayla, Waylon and Wren Camp; brothers Bobby, Roger,
Bill and Micheal Camp; sisters Cathy Morton, Anita Kim, and Shelby Spencer; and countless nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Terry is preceded in death by his parents, sister Shirley Horton and nephew Michael Camp.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Mitchell Funeral Home, 1520 Hwy. 49 N, Paragould, AR, on Saturday, October 26, with visitation from 12:00-1:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. Terry will be buried next to his parents and sister at Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland, AR.
Though Terry has departed this world, his memory and sense of humor will live on in our hearts. We take comfort in knowing that he is now at peace, and we will continue to celebrate his life by living in a way that honors the values he held dear.
