Jonesboro, AR – Contributed – The Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library invites families to attend several summer programs throughout June and July.
These free events are open to the public and designed to entertain, educate, and inspire children of all ages.
On Tuesday, June 24, Wild Ones Ranch Exotic Animal Encounters will present an exciting opportunity to see exotic animals up close. Programs will be held at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the Library’s Round Room.
On Tuesday, July 8, participants are invited to the Arkansas State University Museum Field Trip. Guests should meet at the museum, located at 320 University Loop W., at 10 a.m. for a guided tour and the opportunity to explore the museum’s fossil collections.

On Tuesday, July 15, Runaway Puppet Theater will present “Tall Tales, Tiny Heroes,” featuring entertaining puppet performances for all ages. Shows will be held at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.in the Round Room.
On Tuesday, July 22, the Museum of Discovery Awesome Science Show will bring hands-on science demonstrations and exciting experiments to the library. Programs will be held at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the Round Room.
All programs are free and open to children in Pre-K through 3rd grade and their families. Registration is not required.
