Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Aug 12, 2024 – Jonesboro police officers were dispatched over the weekend to a commercial burglary on Nettleton.

During the night, someone drove a vehicle into the garage area of the business and stole a trailer and several tools. They also took apart two large air conditioning units. The suspect left with a large amount of scrap.

Officers contacted the local recycling companies and were told about a man who was pulling a trailer that matched the description of the stolen trailer.

His name is Michael Rickman. Officers went to a residence associated with Rickman, and found the vehicle used in the theft and the stolen trailer. They contacted Rickman and brought him in
for an interview. He told officers that he got the trailer from somebody else, and that he was not the one that broke into the building. When asked about the other missing items from the building, Rickman said that he got the trailer and that was it.

After the interview, officers got a search warrant for Rickman’s vehicle and his residence. During the search, a number of stolen items were collected.

Rickman was arrested, charged with multiple felonies, and his bond was set at $50,000.
