Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – July 18, 2024 – A Jonesboro woman contacted police Tuesday night after someone broke into her storage unit and took several thousand dollars worth of games and electronics.
The woman told officers that the owner of the storage facility on Cain Street accidentally cut the lock that was on her unit. She said the owner should’ve cut the lock on the unit next to hers. According to the report, the owner instructed the woman to go purchase a new lock for her unit. So, the next day, she bought a lock and took it to the facility to secure her property.
Unfortunately, it was too late. When she opened the door, she noticed quite a few things were missing…two 65-inch tv’s, a Blu Ray player, an Xbox One and several games, a Play Station 5 and several PS5 games…gone.
What about video security on the premises? Turns out there was one camera, but it was pointed straight at the ground.
