Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – June 4, 2024 – In time for tomorrow’s morning rush, the Stadium Blvd (Highway 1) bridge construction is complete a full 5 days early and the roadway is now OPEN according to ARDOT Officials.
JRN previously reported that the road would be closed from June 2 through June 9, as released by a statement from ARDOT. Crews have worked around the clock since Sunday morning at 7am and have replaced the entire bridge in record time.
The entire bridge is officially open for business, barricades have been removed, and the detour has been deactivated.
A resounding “Hallelujah!” can be heard across Northeast Arkansas, along with a sigh of relief.
