Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Nov. 28, 2024 – St. Bernards invites community members to join its hospice staff as it hosts its annual Moments of Remembrance to honor lost loved ones this holiday season.

This free event will take place on Dec. 18 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the St. Bernards Auditorium, located at 505 East Washington Ave.

During this event, the public is invited to come out to remember their loved ones with a candlelight ceremony and place a Christmas ornament for them on the tree.

St. Bernards Hospice Director Lindsey Davis said the Moments of Remembrance program has taken place each December for more than a decade.

Although they do not place restrictions on ornaments, as a Catholic healthcare organization, they do ask for the ornaments to be respectful of their beliefs, staff and patients.

“Moments of Remembrance is a time to honor loved ones in a corporate setting,” Davis said. “We invite anyone who has lost loved ones, regardless of their participation in our hospice services. We will serve heavy hors d’oeuvres, and the event is an informal drop-in. It’s just something special we like to do for our community.”
