Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – June 26, 2024 – Jonesboro police responded to a shots-fired call at a home on North Church Tuesday morning.

76-year-old Nellie Bobbitt told officers that 45-year-old Brian Bobbitt was in a bedroom in their house when he fired a 9mm handgun five times into a kitchen wall. One victim was actually in the bedroom with Bobbitt at the time of the shooting.

A female victim told officers that Bobbitt had said “he was going to kill someone today if that old a** b**** doesn’t leave me alone”. He also reportedly said “I’ll shoot you all” at one point.

Bobbitt is related to at least 2 of the 3 victims and they all live in the same house. At the time of the shooting, family members were in the living room. No injuries were reported.

In his probable cause hearing, Bobbitt was charged with terroristic threatening and aggravated assault on a family member.

His bail was set at $100,000 c/s.
