Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – March 28, 2024 – A Jonesboro man faces three felony charges after a judge found probable cause to charge him Wednesday, March 27.
Timothy Clayton Carter, 42, of Craighead County was arrested by Craighead Sheriff’s Deputy Cody Ladner and Sgt. Mandi McDaniel following a probation search of his residence on Tuesday. Ladner found a substance believed to be methamphetamine, digital scales, and a meth pipe.
Carter is required to inform McDaniel of any change of employment as a convicted sex offender, said he hadn’t told her he was unemployed because he was embarrassed.
Special Judge Barbara Halsey charged Carter with failure to comply with reporting requirement by a sex offender, possession of methamphetamine less the 2 grams and felony possession of drug paraphernalia. She set his bond at $10,000.
Carter’s next court date is April 26, 2024, in Craighead County Circuit Court.
